My 1986 Camaro SC,recently painted. It now sports an 84'Z-28 nose,Harwood cowl hood, and 88' Iroc gfx. The early third-gen front ends look more aggressive to me than the later ones.

The car originally came with a 2.8 6-cylinder,but has had 2 small blocks in it since i've had it.This is the latest one,a 74'350 4-bolt with 94'350 ported heads. Also a Summit cam,Weiand intake,Cloyes double roller timing set, accel ignition stuff,Hedman headers and y-pipe,vortex cat back exhaust,650 Holley carb,Holley powershot airfilter. The transmission is an 700r4 and has a corvette servo,B&M kick-down valve and trans cooler installed.I've deleted the air-conditioning heater box with an non-air heater box and cleaned out alot of the old ecm wiring.Nothing fancy, just old school hot-rodding stuff and alot of ebay and junkyard scrounging.

I've recovered the headliner, sailpanels and sunvisors, added a grant steering wheel,B&M megashifter,Macewen white face gauge overlays(Z-28 speedometer also)actually found a good dashpad at the local salvage yard too!
This is what she looked like before the paint job,I kept stock-piling parts until i had the stuff i needed to make it look like a Z-28.I drove it a long time as a coupe and just got bored with the look. .The body was pretty much rust free which is pretty rare in this part of the country. That old .030 over 307 worked pretty good until i spun a bearing racing some guy.
This summer i entered her in a couple of shows, even won a 2nd place trophy in the 80's category at one show, totally unexpected.I only entered because you could get in for free that way(ha). The 5.0 and the Vette' are both owned by friends of mine.
I've recently taken off the chrome wheels and installed a set of old 15x7 aluminum Z-28 wheels that i refinished and equipped with new centercaps from ebay.It took awhile to find 4 good rims,i found a couple at different junkyards and bought two off of ebay.

(shed 24 pounds from the car as a result, also looks alot better.)
