This photo was taken in 1996 in my parents driveway, the day after I rescued her from rotting away in a local guy's backyard. As you can see any longer and it may have been curtains for this old gal
This is a few weeks after restoration began. I hired a six bay shed, built a rotisserie then replaced the rear floor pans, rocker panels (inner & outter) trunk floor and abrasive blasted the body and frame. This pic is around 3 years after I inflated 4 flat tires and dug her out of a sandy backyard grave. She is begining to scrub up nicely don't you think. She's only just been painted and a lil jewellery applied at this stage...still a long way to go. Yeah I know...I know...its PINK!!!! But you need something to entertain your eyes when you pop the hood. The Chevy origionaly had a 235ci inline six but is now powered by a 307ci small block. This pic is on the same day as the one above...you cant look at these things on a sunny day as the chrome will blind you. Shot of the left rear quarter.Glass is in and more chrome added. Engine is now wired, has air conditioning, alloy intake 650cfm electric choke Holley, power brakes, alloy Edelbrock valve covers and heaps more.

You did a goog job of restoring. The pink is wild but hey if it gets attention go for it. The exterior color was the same as my first '58 (I won't how long ago) and my current one is pastel yellow but someday '67 Corvette Yellow.
