THIS IS MY CURRENT SYSTEM. I HAD TO SELL ME LAST ONE BECAUSE I NEEDED MONEY FOR MY GIRLFRIENDS ENGAGEMENT RING, TUITION, AND MY CAR PAYMENTS. IT IS TWO 12" INFINITY KAPPA PERFECTS 12.1s.

HERE IS THE ENCLOSURE THAT I BUILT FOR THEM. THIS ENCLOSURE WILL YIELD A QTC OF .707 IT SOUNDS GREAT

CHECK OUT THIS PIC...I DOUBLED UP THE BAFFLE SO IT IS 1.5" THICK! IT IS INCREDIBLY STRONG.

THIS IS MY LAST SYSTEM CONSISTING OF 3 12" SUBWOOFERS. I CAN'T SAY WHERE I GOT THEM OR FROM WHO. I HAD THEM CUSTOM MADE FOR ME AND THEY ARE THE ONLY 3 IN THE WORLD. THEY HAVE A 4 SPOKE BASKET, A 1 INCH SANTOPRENE SURROUND, HUGE MOTOR, AND A 1 PIECE ALUMINUM CONE. THEY ARE DUAL 2 OHM VOICE COILS.

THIS IS THE AMP THAT POWERED ALL 3 12s. IT IS AN ORION 2500D. I AM GOING TO WIRE THE COILS IN PARALLEL AND THE SUBS IN SERIES TO YIELD A 1.33 OHM LOAD. THE AMP DOES 2500 WATTS RMS AT A 1 OHM LOAD. THIS MEANS EACH SUB WILL GET ~750 WATTS.

THIS IS THE ENCLOSURE AT NIGHT. I USED 2 SUPER BRIGHT BLUE LEDs, ONE ON EACH SIDE.

THIS IS JUST A BLUE NEON I MOUNTED ON THE AMP RACK. THIS IS LOOKING THROUGH THE SKII HOLE OF THE REAR SEAT. IT LOOKS BAD HERE BUT IN PERSON AND AT NIGHT IT IS AWESOME.

THIS WAS THE ENCLOSURE...EACH SUB WAS IN 3 ft^3 SEALED WITH 3 LBs OF POLYFIL IN EACH.

THE SUBS WERE POWERED BY 2 JBL BP1200.1s. EACH SUB IS GETTING ABOUT 1200 WATTS RMS. THE JBL 1200s ARE ACTUALLY BENCH TESTED TO PUT OUT ABOUT 1,380 WATTS RMS INTO A 2 OHM LOAD THOUGH.

LEXUS IS NOT A VERY EASY CAR TO FIND PARTS FOR SO I HAD TO MAKE THE INSTALLATION KIT MYSELF. IT ACTUALLY WORKED OUT BETTER THOUGH BECAUSE I THINK THAT THE 3/4" MDF AND BLACK LEATHER THAT I WRAPPED IT IN IS A LOT BETTER THAN CHEAP FLIMSY ABS PLASTIC. THERE WAS ALSO NO WIRING HARNESS SO I JUST WIRED IT TO THE BATTERY AND MADE A NICE GROUND WITH KNU KONCEPTZ 8 GAUGE POWER WIRE. I THEN LAYED ALL NEW SPEAKER WIRE (TO BYPASS THE FACTORY AMPS) AND THEN FOUND AND TAPPED INTO MY IGNITION WIRE.

IT IS THE BEST DECK THAT I HAVE EVER OWNED AND I HAVE HAD A LOT...INCLUDING MY CURRENT ALPINE CDA-9815, AN ALPINE CDA-7875, A CHEAP PIONEER AND A PIONEER DEH-P7300, SONY XPLODE, JVC ELKAMELEON, AND A 7" EMERSON FLIP OUT SCREEN WITH A CONCEPT DVD PLAYER.

THE AMP I HAD POWERING IT WAS A US AMPS 2000X. 2000 WATTS RMS @ 4 OHMS! IT WAS A SWEET AMP.

THE AMP I HAD POWERING THEM WAS A LEGACY, SPECS ARE CRAP SO I'M NOT EVEN GOING TO LIST THEM. DON'T LAUGH IT WAS ONE OF THE FIRST AMPS I HAD, IT WAS YEARS AGO.

AFTER HAVING THE 2 15s, I WANTED MORE SO HERE IS A SHOT OF A NEW ENCLOSURE THAT I DECIDED TO BUILD FOR MY JEEP. I ADDED 2 MORE 15" AUDIOBAHN AW150XS SUBS. EACH SUB WAS IN A 4 FT^3 PORTED ENCLOSURE.

THE COMLETED ENCLOSURE...THE AMPS I HAD POWERING THEM WERE 2 JBL BP1200.1S SO EACH SUB GOT 600 WATTS RMS. IT HIT 145 DBS, KIND OF DISSAPOINTING FOR 4 15" PORTED SUBS BUT THEY WERE NOT THE BEST SUBS EITHER. THEY WERE GOOD FOR THE MONEY THOUGH.

THIS WAS MY FIRST CAR, A 1982 BUICK RIVIERA. I ENDED UP DONATING IT TO MY HIGH SCHOOL THAT I WENT TO. WHEN I WENT TO LOOK AT IT, IT STARTED, RAN, AND DROVE GREAT. THEN, THE FIRST NIGHT I GOT IT HOME IT STARTED TO GET CRAPPY. I DID NOT TRUST THE GUY WHO SOLD IT TO ME AT ALL BUT I WAS TOO EXCITED ABOUT HAVING MY FIRST CAR SO I BOUGHT IT ANYWAYS. HE SAID HE WOULD GET ME A TON OF PARTS FOR IT AND THEN HE GAVE ME HIS PHONE NUMBER. I TRIED CALLING HIM A WEEK LATER TO SEE IF HE HAD THE PARTS AND HIS NUMBER WAS DISCONNECTED AND HE MOVED AWAY! I WAS PISSED!
