Well we are correcting the problems from the Arizona race. The rest of the story - Our cam gear came loose resulting in timing all over the place. All the exhaust valves were bent. We replaced the exhaust valves with Skunk2 this time. The head is back on the car now and we found that the exhaust wheel on the turbo was also badly damaged. Here is a picture from this morning 5/31/05. Will be racing NHRA Bandimere in less that 2 weeks - We hope everything comes together there.
Below is a picture from the June 2005 NHRA race. We moved up to the Hot Rod class for fun due to not being able to run SFWD class with our dry sump system. It was fun. Our 1/4 mile time was 11.00 It doesn't get much closer to a 10 second run.
We closed the race season finally running our goal of a 10 second pass. We can't wait until next year - things will keep getting better.
