AND THEN.................BOOM

My suspicion is a torque converter failure, but whatever it was, the engine and tranny were coming out this time, from the top:

I started the process of pulling the drivetrain, disconnecting and labeling everything!

And here's my new drivetrain!!!

I decided to upgrade some engine components while everything was out. To my surprise, I cracked my valve covers open , removed the Intense Gen 3 roller rockers..........and found this:

Yup, the roller rocker tip moved into the rocker body, machining itself beautifully into the side of the rocker.

UPDATE: 4-26-2006

Engine and transmission were dropped in yesterday. Many accessories were bolted up, and the car should be ready to turn over by the end of the week. I am still waiting on my tuning software, so until that arrives, the car must sit :(

UPDATE: 5-27-2006

Tuning is underway, running great!

UPDATE: 8-26-2006

Tuning is going good. Finally have the 3.2 pulley on there, shooting for 0KR and about 17-18º of advance at WOT. I'll have some new pictures up tonight.
