Right now, im in the middle of a 4cyl-V8 conversion. for the past year, i was in the gathering phase, but now i finally have everything i need, so the project is about to kick off. i have a decently beefed up 310 for the car, but due to financial issues, i'm just gonna have to put in a stock 302 from a GT donor car with a T5. I'm going to properly build up the 310 over the winter/spring seasons and hopefully it should be in my car by next summer. So far, the stuff i've switched over to V8 is:
front suspension (kept 4cyl springs)
front brakes
rack and pinion
rearend (8.8 with 3.27's)
rear suspension
radiator
clutch pedal assembly with UPR quick release quadrant
also, i put in a walbro 255lph fuel pump while the rearend was out and the car was in the air so i wouldnt have to do it later. here's what the car looks like at the moment. also, since the pics were taken, i've added a rear bumper and taillights. the next thing im going to do is finish the body work on the fenders and put the front end on.
here's a list of the stuff i have for my car...the performance mods are a list of what is on the 310.

As you can see, i have A LOT of work ahead of me, after i do the body work and get the front end on, i plan on priming the car myself then the motor/transmission transplant. Because of the same financial issues, i'll probably just get a cheap Maaco paint job for now, until i can get some money, time, and a place to paint it myself. Im still debating on the color. Anyways, that's my car so far, i know it's not much, but it will be! i'll keep you updated on the progress of my car. thanks for looking!
