The eclipse. even though its non turbo, there are upgrade options: Turbo it: Rebuild your bottom end block with JE pistons/ eagle rods or crower rods at 9:1 compression via VT Engines or HowellAutomotive.com. either keep it 2.0 or stroke to 2.2L Get Hahn Racecraft turbo kit (HRC with a 20G turbo) or Star Performance kit with a T3/T4 turbo. 3" full Exhaust with test pipe and 3" downpipe. FMIC, Turbo XS blow off valve , AF/X underdrive pulley. Crane #14 turbo cams. Cometic Head Gasket. (stock gaskets are weak) crankscraper. Megasquirt computer or Greddy e-manage. (or Accel DFI 7 or Electromotive TEC 3 if you have the $) Apexi AVC-R boost controller. Boost, egt, water, air/fuel gauges. Alot of these parts you can get off Howell's site. If you stay non turbo, I suggest: Getting a 2.4L Dodge Stratus or PT Cruiser Block and stroke it to 2.6L with 11:1 high compression JE/CPpistons / eagle/Crower rods bored .20 over. Crane #16 or #18 cams. keep your AEM cold air intake. Fidenza PT cruiser 2.4 cam gears windage tray AF/X Race ECU (40hp gain) NRGYHeads.com race port head port and polish with PT lifters and rockers, oversized valves, titanium retainers etc. Bosal Header Fast Fabrications Sheet Metal intake manifold Ported runners ModernPerformance.com 60mm Throttle body. Fluidyne radiator with Spal fans Zex 100 shot wet kit nitrous. Suspension: Tokico illuminas with Eibach pro kit (or TEIN FLEX with EDFC if you have the $). Nitto 555 drag radials. keep your stock wheels or get 3rd Gen RX-7 wheels. Suspension techniques lower front and rear sway bars. Neuspeed front and rear strut bars Phantom Grip Limited slip

don't get the lancer or the eclipse, both are slow and unreliable. I would get the mustang, it's definitely the quickest.

all are crap, the integra would hold its value the best, the mustang is the quickest of the bunch but there are better choices out there 12k or less do more research.
