Remove tail ligths from car ror mask surrounding area. Keep in mind, overspray gets EVERYWHERE!

I used a 2in1 sponge, the rough side, dry to rough the surface up. Washed w/ degreasing soap, and used a paper towel to dry.

The first coat, I was DEF impressed w/. I laid it on a smidge too thick and I had a small run. -Right in the center of the driver's side.

Use the 2in1 sponge, (like the rough 3m side) dry, to try to smooth it out. I worked ok, untill the paint REALLY set up. (a fingernail would have been more abrasive) IT smoothed it out OK.

IMO, One coat somewhat heavy, if you're good, is PLENTY... again IMO.

It gives it a NICE smoked look. I forgot to take before pics, come to think of it... I hope people can see my brake lights ok, douring the day now... ..Don't want to get rear-ended.
