I bought this car in June of 2001 exactly 1 week after getting into an accident with my show truck. The truck was my daily driver up until that time. I had tossed around the idea of buying a driver, but the accident made it happen.
THE DETAILS

- Power locks.
- Power driver's seat.
- Limo tint all around.

THE SUSPENSION
* With just these few suspension upgrades I've performed so far, this sucker will STICK to the corners! Trust me when I say that I'm not done tweaking the suspension. *
Front:
- '95 Caprice 9C1 (cop car) front springs with 2 full coils removed for a 2" drop.
- Monroe Severe Service 550012 shocks.
Rear:
- Suspension Techniques 2.5" '91-'96 Caprice drop springs giving 2" of drop.
- HD lower control arms.
- '96 Impala SS swaybar.
- Monroe Severe Service 550013 shocks.
THE DRIVETRAIN
- Stock 305 carbed V8.
- Removed the smog pump and hoses, but I still need to remove the AIR lines from the manifolds.
- Stock 200R4 automatic transmission.
- Flowmaster (I hate it) muffler.
THE FUTURE
* Sure it's just my $1,000 daily driver, but I can't leave anything alone and there's always room for improvements. *
- Upgrade the front swaybar and possibly even further upgrade the rear swaybar.
- Change the suspension bushings to poly bushings.
- 17 or 18" billet wheels.
- Change the interior color to gray and install some nice sport buckets up front.
- Convert the engine accessories to a single serpentine belt system.
- Replace the nasty carb with an EFI setup.
- Put a nice exhaust on it.
- Strip the vinyl top and all the trim and paint the entire exterior (including bumpers) solid black.
