Well, time for an update again, i just got these new ronal rims and falken azenis RT-615 tires on my car and like them so far :D. hope you guys like the look. i think it makes it look more modern.

for the grille i used duplicolor low gloss black paint, and gloss paint with clear for the rings.

one of my future upgrades will be a hood like this derecuda's 1986 Audi 4000
my folks were very generous and split the cost with me for my b-day. the plan is to get my sideskirts, and lower portions of my bumpers sanded and painted at the same time as the hood.

Hood Update

i got a hood and installed it. at the time i didn't have the money to paint it white, so my friend and i just sprayed it flat black. i wasn't real happy with the overall finish of the hood itself, the fiberglass job is pretty poor. i planned to sell the hood and do something different, but with how hard it is to get them, i think i'll hang onto it and do the work to make it perfect.

i have also since upgraded from the stock red and yellow taillights to the all red v8q ones. i think they look very nice indeed.

HID Lighting

ooooooh, this is one of the best upgrades of done period to my car. the lighting is fantabulous and in my opinion, the lights look killer in their appearance.

Here you can see the light on the right in the manner i first finished it. with just the black plate around the projector light. after looking at it a little i figured i would mask the inside of the lense and paint it black to see how it looked, and worse case scenario i could just use thinner to take the paint off. i think the results are awesome. it really cleans up the edges of the lights.

another future upgrade to is hopefully a full on UR body grafting. fenders, bumpers, side skirts, should look real sweet like this car.

Full write up on the conversion...

here's some older pics of my car

here's my first audi,an 85,kind of a turd to look at but it ran strong.I eventually sold it to pay for my fuel system

Exhaust
derecuda's 1986 Audi 4000 here's the stainless tip(from a gmc yukon)the exhuast is a full three inches in diameter from the down pipe back with a single dynomax muffler. I plan to add a second muffler cause there is just a bit too much resonation when cruising with winders up.but other wise when at full song she sounds great.

update I installed a second resonator and now wished i'd done it a long time ago. resonation is gone at lower speeds, but it still sounds great!!

derecuda's 1986 Audi 4000and heres the underside of the front end, you can see my original intercooler idea,it got scrapped in favor of a bigger intercooler.there's also part of my exhuast. take note of the lack of catylitic converter.I know it's a sacrific of the "enviroment" but it was removed for the sake of performance, a noble cause indeed derecuda's 1986 Audi 4000

I would like to send out a huge thanks to my dad, trevor and daniel for all their help and patience.you guys are the best!
