Mine is a 1.8 litre single over head cam horizzontally opposed (FlatFour Boxer engine). When new the engine should run around 150 or 160 ps.
4wd:
This model of subary has four wheel drive, but should really only be used when in a slippery situation. These subarus are not meant for heavy four wheel driving like a land cruiser or a patrol, however u can temperarily raise or lower the coil suspension to your desired height if u need clearance. By leaving the suspension in not the normal position for a long period of time u are ricking damaging ur suspension.
i often use it in town in the wet if i want to piss a rear wheel drive car off that has more power than me.
Speeds
ive got it to 160 kilometres an hour exactly 100 miles a couple of times on an open road. she was cruisin along, dont have the built in taco so dont know how many revs id say headin near redline! i think i could get it more if the engine was new but its done over 300,000 kilometres not a bad effort
