I just bought a few new parts for it, and I hope to get to work on it pretty soon if it ever warms up outside! I no longer have a "friend" to help me work under the hood so I guess I'll be flying solo when it comes fixing it up!

My grandfather bought me one but it needs a lot of work and money poured into it so it'll be a while till I get to ride around in mine.

My Thing right now is just the frame mainly. Its white right now but once I get it done I hope to paint it pink or orange!

A Thing is a utilitarian Volkswagen designed for both work and play.
The VW Thing Type 181 was produced from late 1969 to early 1980. But the production years available in the U.S. were only 1973 and 1974. Just under 30,000 units were sold in the U.S., however the total number of cars produced is approximately 70,000. I think the VW Thing is an amazing car.
