My 1981 Volkswagen Diesel
They really are lovely cars aren't they? So here's a little history on little Nelly aka Carrots. My parents bought her in 1981 brand spanking new when they rolled off the production line and into the nearest Vdub dealer. We've had her ever since. In spring 2003 she became mine. My Ford Escort has packed it in just 8 months after I bought her, long story short, don't buy a ford. Gave her alittle TLC and now she's on her way to being a sporty little bunny. Still fast with over 300K on her. Shes taken Hondas, Nissans, Mazdas all atleast 5-10 years newer.

The car looks really good from a distance but the colour doesn't really do much for her. It is orginal colour and paint.

I've replaced the tags on the back of the car after they were stolen. Someone stole the "Volkswagen" tag for sure. The diesel tag fell off but I found them at the wrecking yard off another bunny. The best part was that I got them for free. I added some silver paint to them to give it a kick.

I added those fog lights not too long ago after getting a good deal on them at a bargin store. They glow green after they are switched off and look really wicked in the dark.

If you look closely you can see a minor dent where some retard hit my baby a few years back in the parking lot.

My bunny has something I haven't seen on others before. It's got a diesel decal on both sides with a rabbit on it. I haven't taken it off because it was originally on when we bought the car.
