Sorry everyone, the blue car has bit the dust. After shipping out to college my mom got rid of the blue car. I sold the red one to a friend from work with the engine from the blue car in the trunk. I had heard that he wrecked it and totaled it, but recently found out that the car has not moved because the guy never learned how to drive a stick.:) My friend Bryan (the one i bought it from) said he might buy it back this winter for a snow car.
On another note: my little step brother (who turns 16 in december) just got a '79 Monza wagon - and it's blue. I told him he has to continue the legacy of Blue Thunder. Hopefully it will be fixed up soon - they are re-doing the body before he gets his license.
It is a sad day in the world for Blue Thunder. Blue Thunder may be going away for a while, if not for good. Lets just say that it got in a fight with a couple fence posts and didn't come out as the winner. I was driving along the highway on a side street. As I crossed over a bridge, I hit a pothole - which blew out the left rear tire. The back of the car started going to the left, and the rest is history. It wouldn't have been so bad, but when I was pulling the car out of the ditch, we went back over the fence. The chain-link fence caught on the exhaust and pushed everything forward. Now I have to get everything from the driver seat forward replaced in the exhaust. Also I can barely open the driver's door. All but one of my driving lights is gone. And it scratched the paint to hell, not that the paint was great to start with. And I had to get a new tire just to top things off.
If anyone wants any parts, see page 6
In case you are wondering why i call it blue thunder, it is because i have installed a simple flame-thrower kit on it that shoots a blue flame about 1 foot out of the exhaust.

it is very simple - I wired up a relay that just grounds out the coil. All i do is roll along at 45 mph in gear, then flip the switch, pump the gas, and flip the switch back off and
KABOOM! Of course i had to cut out most of my exhaust system for this to work, but it is well worth it!

I'm open for sponsors.
