81 GH SIGMA

The car i picked up in (OCT 03) for $300 (as painted) of a lady who lives two doors down from me the car had been sitting in her back yard since she moved in a year ago as soon as i seen it i said i'll take it.

All iv;e done so far is give it a clean up all round & engine bay too. Spayed the grill , inside the car when u open the doors & inside the boot BLACK.(engine bay will be BLACK to before new engine goes in).
Put in a reco diff,a new clutch,set of hubcaps(not 4 long)(set of 17" alloys)(SOON) something like this in this pic BELOW

i've done afew other small things that were needed to pass roadworth=(good service, gearbox mount$20,windsreen buffed$50,new muffler$70,one tail light$10,brake/clucth pedal rubbers$0,passenger mirror$0, 2 tyres$40 (good second hand ones) all a total of $190. Next is REGO a week or two and she will be on the road.

I've started on the interior this is a door trim coverd in black velvet witch i done all four doors and rooflining for $30.

New black plush pile carpet will be going in, the top half of dash is being coverd with some carpet like material from a mates interior off cuts. Bottom half dash,centre console and inside piller plastic covers all have been re-prayed black. I put on a 76 galant coupe steering wheel of my last car 76 galant sedan.

(soon to be sports wheel). A piston gear knob on my custom shorted shifter,skull door knobs,and some racing pedals not fitted yet. I replaced the rearview mirror with a K.A ford laser ghia mirror alot better. Thats all ive done on the interior so far. (adventully) RECARO front racing seats and back seat recoverd to match front seat material. Until then seat covers will do.
I've recently tinted the windows myself will a $30 kit from autobarn and it turned out pretty shit but it will do until i get it done properly. I've also tinted the tail-lights and front indercator/parker lenses myself using a spraycan tint and they come up very nice.(looks mean)

At the moment it running a stock 2lt and 5spd.(don't know how long it's gonna last sounds very bad thats why i,m currently rebuilding a 2.6lt astron also going to be 5spd.
