2004 Jeep TJ Solar Yellow

***THIS JEEP IS SOLD***

Here is my 2004 Jeep TJ Sport. I bought this jeep and it was straight to the off-road shop for me. Excellent lift installation at Smoky Mountain Offroad in Knoxville, TN. These guys are great to deal with and do an awesome job working on Jeeps.

-Bestop Oversized Tire Carrier

Ok I have been getting alot of questions about the 4" Lift with 2" coil spring spacers so here we go:

-I bought the spacers in sets of two from Rubicon Express (I believe that you can also buy them in sets of 4 also from other manufacturers)

- The coil spring spacers do not work the same was as a body lift in that they raise your whole frame, whereas a body lift lifts the body off the frame.

- Due to that no modifications were necessary on the engine, driveshaft or transmission. The only thing that I modified was bending my gearshifter a little straighter b/c it was coming out of second gear when I hit big bumps (this was also in part b/c my shifter boot was so stiff because it was new)

- It did raise my driveline in more of an angle, but not a whole lot more than it was before with just the suspension lift. Which didnt really matter because I knew I was getting the S.Y.E. soon, but I did drive it without a S.Y.E. for about 3 months with no problems except a little driveline vibration.

I suggest a S.Y.E. kit on any jeep lifted 4" or more.

Hope this clears some of this up.
