Bored .030 oversize.
Pistons are KB hypereutectic flat tops
Stock rods with ARP rod bolts
Stock crank .010/.010

Cylinder heads:
1970 351W
Screw-in studs
Melling springs
Ferea 1.94/1.6 stainless steel valves
Crane 1.6 roller rocker arms
C-moly pushrods
Milled to yield 53cc combustion chambers.

Estimated compression: 10.5:1

Cam:
Holman Moody Automotive XX290 hydraulic flat tappet Dual pattern .470/.474 lift

Mallory Unilite mechanical advance

Induction:
Edelbrock Performer 289 aluminum intake
Holley 600cfm vacuum carb

Transmission:
C4 Automatic with shift kit

Rear end:
Currently the stock 8-in 2.79 open rear

Valve Covers:
COBRA finned aluminum-tall to clear roller rockers

All this monitored by NOS Stewart Warner gauges from the late 60's and early 70's. Tach is the higly sought after Greenline edition.

What an amazing Comet. I just posted mine, if you want to take a look. Unfortunately I might need a hand getting parts, the poor Comet got written off.
