Lord_Xeno's 2002 Kia Rio

This picture came directly from Kia's web page back in 2002.

I purchased the car in October 2002. A few days later, it was in an accident. It cost close to $6,000 for all the repairs for a car that only cost $9,000. The insurance company covered it all.

After just one year of driving, I had to put another $450 into repairs. New brakes, rotors, tires, alignment, etc.

There have been a few things I haven't been able to fix. The steering wheel is ALWAYS off center. I think its been that way since I got it. I've taken it to two Kia dealers, and none of their technicians can seem to do anything about it.
Another thing that has bothered me since I got it is a whistling sound of air rushing through the passenger side door. I think maybe the accident is the cause of that. A lot of stuff was replaced on the back and right side of the car, and perhaps the front passenger side door doesn't align properly with the new right side.

Hey, try taking that door to a body shop, they should be able to fix it. It sounds like its either the door isn't lining up with the side, or the weather striping's bad. Kia's arn't too bad (but who am I to talk, I have an 89 hyundai that's up to its rims in mud, and an 87 Jeep with a hole in the floor, or I should say floor in the hole, it really is that bad) as long as it gets you where you're going and dosn't break down, it's a good enough car.
