bdufner's 1992 Chevrolet Lumina

Welcome to my page. This site is about my Lumina Van which I compete in MECA M5,M6, and X2 with. The system started with 3 solobaric L7 15's and six Crystal 600.2T amps. After struggling to match the gains of all 6 amps and having a couple L7's let go I reduced the amps to 3 and had a good year hitting 150.1 in M6, 150.6 in M5, and 149.8 in X2 earning me an invitation to MECA World Finals.

I have since decided that messing with all those gains was too much of a hassle and got one Amp to do the job of six. The US Amps USA 6000! It made and immediate difference. Just by replacing amps I gained almost 2 full dB over my previous high.
I am currently searching for new subs to replace the Kickers. The kickers get loud, but they don't seem to be able to handle the power I am feeding them. I tried 2 Kove Armageddon ZM15's of my teammate's, but with half the cone area of 3 square 15's and same tuning we didn't gain any SPL. Currently I am looking into a pair Resonant Engineering MT 18's! The RE Tech department has been very helpful an courteous. Look for updates on which subs I run in 2004!

Here is a picture of Team Big Sky AudioSports. From l to r Deven, Me, and Jason. Not pictured is Jen(wildwesst) because she didn't have her hair done or something.

I don't know what to say, other why? I mean heck you probably have more in that system then you get in the rest of that van. I just hope your alarm is half as good and loud. If it is the theifs will never hear anything again. Later
