***update at bottom***
The ugly as it sits now. I've given up on this car as my full on project car considering the shape it is in. Plans are to replace the front bumper (89+ bumper swap was cracked during towing, two weeks after it was put on the car), 89+ trim, and paint, reinstall the interior, and hope it holds up till I find a 90/91 turbo.

A little history of the car:
I aquired it from my brother after moving to St. Louis in May of 2002. New interior and exterior color was the first planned mod so I removed the trim and the interior immediately. But as with any new move and becomming adjusted to a new city and state, time was scarce. So the car pretty much stayed in that shape till earlier this year when I added an intake and exhaust. It repaid me by blowing the headgasket. Since the car had such bad rings, I started a turbo motor buildup, but the time thing bit me in the ass again. So with the help of a friend we swapped in a 91 n/a motor to get the car on the road again. The interior is still stripped for the most part, but what has been replaced has been swapped for gray pieces (from burgundy). The original owner had an aftermarket sunroof put in sometime in 87, I hate it as it soaks my legs while driving in the rain. Damn 16 year old seals.
Before the BHG, I had started some suspension work which was also interupted by the motor swap. I went with Tokico and H&R springs. Most guys who have an inkling of knowledge about the MKIII Supra will tell you to never buy the H&R springs. I'll say this, ride suffers, handling is great, look is absolutely unbeatable when coupled with a good set of wheels (chrome blows ass!). I might break down and buy whatever suspension mods will be swappable to the new car.
It's now the daily driver instead of the project. I just hope it holds up. Regardless, it was my first Supra and the reason I am a MKIII Supra enthusiast.

See that? My girlfriend decided to show me up :) '90 turbo with built bottom end, MHG, ARP, Eibach, ST sway bars, and a boost controller. It's on now. She's not getting her keys back either.

Wow, how things change in so little time. I have in my possesion an almost complete turbo motor, missing only the engine harness. This is the turbo motor build up mentioned in the car history. The guy who had the motor (I was building it then purchasing it) decided he didn't want to mess with 7m-gte motors anymore. Apparently, you do one 1jz buildup/swap, and you realize how pointless it is to invest time and money into the 7m motor. Well, I'm happy, cause now it's my project to continue. I also acquired a new 89+ bumper and an almost complete set of 89+ trim. Looks like the bish might get a chance to shine afterall.
