Richmond 6 Speed
This is my latest modification after blowing my T5 Borg and Warner twice. I deceided to go with the Richmond(ROD) 6 speed since it is the only after market six speed and hadles way more power than stock T56's from newer camaros and vettes.

I complimented the new 6 speed with a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch and pressure plate. The tranny is a direct bolt on since i was able to use my T5 bellhousing, clutch pressure plate and even driveshaft.

I had to modify the driveshaft by changing the driveshaft yoke into a 32 spline by using the TH400 yoke. This driveshaft is temporary until i get the Lingenfelter aluminum driveshaft for bettering reving, more power to the wheels and less vibration

Above is the modified cross member which is supplied along with a H pattern shifter, reverse light wiring, and speedo cable.

The new 6 speed has very aggressive gears with 1st=3.27, 2nd=2.13 3rd=1.57 4th=1.23 5th=1.00 and 6th=.76, which is a little too high but one can really feel the difference as the car feels much faster and revs up way faster. I will be changing my rearend gears from 3.23 to 3.01 for better highway mileage but will still have gears equivilant to that of 4.56's. Overall the tranny has more positive shifts but is a bit nosier than the stock one
