Ryan's Ford Festiva
Hi, I'm Ryan.
Here are some problems that I had when I first got my Ford Festiva.
Well, I guess that I'm going to start from the beginning. When I first got my Festiva there was a lot of problems. The car was mostly covered in rust, and basically nothing worked. The horn didn't work, as well as the car barely started. Then when I went to fix the hor, I had to take off that stupid cover on the bumper only to notice that it was hiding more rust on the hood, and a giant hole in the front bumper the size of my fist. Then I noticed that the back bumper was old, and it also had a big crack in it. Also the whole passenger side of the car was almost completly rusted and had to be re done, so I figured that I'd do a whole new paint job. This car didn't even come with a window washer squirter! This was just an old model L Festiva with no extra options.
So after a while, me and my Dad decided to find another Festiva for parts, and we took the good parts right away.

Here is an image of my Festiva with one new door on.

I'm here working on the door.

This is the passenger side of the car before I started work on it.

This is when I had most of the driver side done, and the passenger side started. My Dad did most of the painting. We first started using near match paint, but to do the last coat of paint, we used red Tremclad paint, it works a lot better if you are planning to paint your Festiva, just be sure to sand and get the gloss part of the old paint off for the new paint to stick better.

Me working on scrap car.

Me trying to save exhaust on scap car only to find out it was full of holes.
