Hey everyone,
This page is dedicated to my 1987 LD Astra (N13 Pulsar). OK, starting from the beginning, i bought the beast stock back in August 2003 relatively cheap due to some body damage sustained in a hail storm in queensland... Since then, i have so far done only a few simple, mainly interior mods such as my custom parcel shelf installation (thanx josh) with 6.5" splits and a Clarion 6 disc changer & head unit. Pics of the setup in it's various stages will be available soon. Other than that, i have done a little work with the instrumentation, repairing the temp sensor, speedo and fuel guages, which were all a bit dicky and also changing the dash illumination to a nice shade of blue. I have installed blue/chrome racing pedals, a nice autotecnica shift knob and monza boot and am saving for an autotecnica sports wheel. I have created & fitted a custom front grille which somewhat resembles that of an equivalent pulsar SSS except with the creative touch of a blue aluminium mesh mounted in behind. I have fitted a pulsar Q rear wing which really tidies up the rear end and purchased a new tailgate with no dents, intact window seals and tint. I have purchased a rear bumper from a wrecked later model pulsar Q which has much smoother lines. I also resprayed the front bumper and removed the unsightly towbar. As a small artistic touch, I found removing all the 'holden' badging to be a necessary modification to further smoothen up the lines... Mags/lowering/exhaust are still quite a long way away and will probably follow havin the old girl resprayed. Other future plans include full bodykit, pod filter, extractors and maybe even a CA18/CA18DET. She doesn't look much at the moment, but i think that after a lot of time and money, she will be looking and going sweet.

OK, well as of 16/09/04, after months of deliberation, i finally have pics! So enjoy!

Customised MDF parcel tray with drop down sealed chamber for splits

Pulsar Q rear wing
Tinted rear window

Colour-coded centre on hatch

Planned Mods:
Full body beat, bog, and respray

Eventually, i will probably end up ripping out the standard GM 18LE motor in favour of a NISSAN CA18DE/DET which has A LOT more balls...

hey nice car. As you can guess, i too have an 87 slx astra sedan. So far, ive de-badged it, put some 4" 2-way splitters in the front, chucked in a pioneer DEH(something)head unit, 12"sub and screwed in a 1000 watt boss amp to the box, so far its wired for sound. I'm about to put on some 17" wheels, get it lowered. And try to get a sports exhaust And i havent even got my Ps yet. But i just want to know the limitations of what i can do to it coz im a newbie to this sorta thing and all my friends are in car clubs like the CCC and Dam Str8. So i'd appreciate it if anyone can gimme some pointers on modding my car up. my email is elite_agent@hotmail.com, so add me to msn if you feel.
