December 20th 2003.... Here you see the engine after removal being ported for the Turbo upgrade.
Engine set up done.... First stages on the the Turbo. In about 2 weeks I will take the car to KDROTARY.com for tuning. Later I will post final pictures and Dyno slips. I will also post interior pictures.
Our trip to KD Rotary. We stopped and took a few pictures.
As soon as we arrived at KD Rotary, Skip(KDR Manager) welcomed us, and gave us a tour of the shop.
This first picture is how the interior looks. The other pictures are the seats and door panels I will soon install. The last picture is my son and I.
THE TURBO....12A.... Finally completed.
Interior......
Update on engine bay (May 2004).... I replaced the intake metal pipes (1 3/4") for alluminum pipes (2 1/2") and a bigger, 24x12 intercooler. I removed the engine fan and shroud replaced it with two electrical fans. Finally, I installed a factory spoiler wing.
On May 9, 2004 waiting at a red light to change, I was rear-ended by a chevy causing minor damage. This incident paid me $1424.85. With other plans in mind, I decided to paint my car again.
