This is my page for my 2000 chevy blazer. As it stands its pretty much stock LS 4x4 but i intend to change that(expect to see a lift on it in the next few months). So far ive added flowmaster 40 series exhaust and a K&N air filter. I would have pictures up but my dad took the camera out of town with him so i got to borrow one. Hopefully i will have pictures up soon.

Update: Ive added a couple of auxillary lights designed for an 80's K5 blazer to the front of my blazer right next to the tow hooks. It looks really sweet but was a b*tch to wire. I still dont have a camera yet but I think i might be able to get one from my media teacher.

Update: Got the Camera!!!!! Pics are below with short commentary.

Now and Then. Just a pic of my blazer and my friend's. His is a 1995 2WD V6 Blazer LS.

Update 8/28/04: Its been a while since ive updated this page so i guess im overdue. Well the lil' blaze has been running good for the most part. I just got new 235/75/R15 El Dorado tires for it about 3 weeks ago (much better than the cheap pacemark tires it used to have). Ill post new pics when i get my camera workin again.

Update 8/29/04: Ok so i said it was running great yesterday......well not really that great today. I found out that my entire positive battery cable has to be replaced along with my battery. Sounds easy except for the dang starter wire is a bear to get to. Also i gotta get my blazer into the dealership to have my hazard switch fixed because of a recall which causes my tail-lights not to work (which to no suprise my tail-lights dont work). Ah well i still love my blazer anyway.

Update 8/31/04: Finally got the new battery cable in. Took me forever to get at that starter wire. I also found out that to remove my starter i would have to loosen my motor mounts and lift on the motor (basically the dealership can handle that one :P). Well thats it for now. I'll put new pics on the site tomorrow.

Update 9/12/04: Or not. Kinda forgot to update with the new pics. Its not entirely my fault cuz my camera is acting up. I guess ill update with pics when i can but for now no pics :( .

Update 3/09/05: Ok im just a little lazy and forgetful. I will make a point as soon as i can to get new pictures up. As far as new news for the blazer, ive gotten the wiring all fixed so now everything is operational. I changed out the headlights to sylvania silver star bulbs which look really nice at night and make one heck of a difference when driving. Lets see, what else. Well the tranny blew about 3 months ago so that got rebuilt. Now the transfer case has a bad solenoid and has trouble shifting in and out of 4x4. Shouldnt be that bad to fix but ill just take it in to the shop to get it fixed just cuz i dont wanna deal with it right now. As far as the future goes, im looking into an intake in the near future and possibly a chip or a ecu reprogrammer. Also looking into a lift kit for it. Not sure if i want to just get a body lift and some slightly bigger tires or if i wanna spend some bigger money and get a custom suspension kit (because as of yet i havent seen any premade kits for my particular model). Also sometime in the way future if i get enough set aside im even looking into the possibility of a supercharger. After that ill probably call it done for a while or look at interior mods. Ive been eyeing some new leather upolstry from katskin that looks pretty sweet. Anyways ill keep ya all up to date as things happen.

Update 7/28/05: Well now my blazer is leaking coolant most likely water pump. ive checked all the coolant hoses and the seem to be fine so i have to take it into the shop once again... and my brothers car is in the shop right now cuase he blew a head gasket and is having his whole motor rebuilt from top to bottom... which is gonna cost some $$$$. but i dont know if its worth it. He has a 94 pontiac grand prix, with this outragously huge wing on it, well thats all for now ill try and get more pix soon.

Update 11/10/05: Been a while but i have some new info. Just got a better paying job so im looking at putting some money into the blazer soon. So far ive just gotten around to getting new tires cuz the old ones were bald as all heck. I swear those were the worst set of tires ive ever owned. If ya ever get an oportunity to buy tires made by eldorado, pass on that. Now i got a set of nice BF Goodrich Land Terrain tires. They look really nice on the truck. (see pics below). In the next few months ill be just fixing small stuff on it and then ill look into buying stuff to dress it up. Prolly buy a grille gaurd first. After that ill prolly look at a lift and tires but that will come in due time. Oh and speaking of repairs, turns out that coolant that was leaking was actually boil off. My coolant basically had gone bad and was boiling way too easy so i flushed the whole system (which is a pain to do) and cleaned it out and refilled it and it runs cooler than the day i bought it. Also i found out that my transfer case works again. I went out romping with my buddy and we got the truck stuck in some sand so i figure for shits and grins i would try the 4x4 to see if it still worked and it click in the first try. Didnt give me any crap getting out of 4x4 either so i guess its fixed now. Good thing too cuz the 4-Lo was what got me unstuck. My buddy wasnt so lucky cuz his blazer was only a 2wd model and he got stuck also. Luckily we had about 13 of our buddies with and a tow strap so we litterally pulled him out. Trust me, kodak moment there. Too bad i didnt have my camera with. Anyways I'll leave ya with the new pix. Hopefully next time i update will be with a new goodie for the truck. :D

Update 06/10/06: Wow, i havent updated since november, ouch. Well ive done a few things since last here. Mainly ive added a brush guard and some lights to the front (and unfortunately had to remove the existing lights in the bumper due to they hit the brush guard). Also a long while back before my last update i had done some interior work (which im not quite done with) but either way i have new pics to enjoy. See next page for all the pictures and any future updates.

Our Blazer's transfer case silinoid went out right after we got it. Haven't had any electrical problems, other than the damned computer-controlled climate system won't turn the heater/defroster warm. Uniroyal Liberators (from the Wally World) are cheaper than BFGs, and do pretty darn good, even on ice and snow (I work for them...gotta get an advertising plug in). Good luck on your future mods. Your truck looks sweet.
