Well, been a month. Turns out that its the battery. I just need to get a new one. Youd think that with 4 batteries on the work bench, one of em would work, but no. Oh well. At the rate I do shit, itll probable be another month before I get a new battery.

Been awhile since I updated this thing. Uh, car hasn't started yet. I think some fuses and wires are loose. Once that is fixed the car will start. Everything is and has been connected for some time now. So, uh, yeah.

Thats about it, Im just waiting on a new Injector Wiring Harness and then it should be finished. For the last month Ive pulled off the cylinder head and drained all the gas that got into the intake manifold due to teh faulty wiring on the harness. Everything is back and connected except for those damn exhaust bolts, I hate those things. Anyway, The airconditiong system is now completely off, and Im hoping to have my harness by Thursday so I can install taht before I leave for Las Vegas.

Timing Belt slipped on today. Just need to do something about the oil dipstick tube that snapped off even at the block, connect the turbo oil line, fill the car up with gas and find some replacement bolts for the exhaust and she should, mind you, should start.

Last coolant line is connected. That thing was a bitch. All thats left is the exhaust donut bolts, timing belt and all teh vaccuum and computer connections, then she should start. Maybe.

Alright! I brought home a nice 25 gallon 5.2HP air compressor yesterday with all the goodies. I now have an air ratchet, impoact wrecnh, rotary tool and an air hammer. When i get home today Ill fire it up and maybe just for no reason take the wheels off. Yay!

Anyway, still not much progress heat shield for the starter is on and so are the new injecotrds along with the new ECU. I just have to hook up the oil return line and then all the vaccuum and electric lines topside and she should be ready to turn over.

Well, Cylinder head is back on most coolant lines are hooked up save 2. Maybe do some mroe wokr tomorrow. Dont know.

Old Turbo is off, New tubo is sitting on Kitchen table. As soon as I find some Silicone spray Illl put the injectors in. The Stage 5 ECU is in right now.

The FedEx guy left me a little present in the form of $1100 in parts from FWDPerformance.com. Tomorrow is gonna be a kick ass day.

What better Valentine's Day present could my car give me then Head? Heh heh Its a play on words. No seriously, ignore my feeble attempt at humor, I got the head off and the turbo came with it. i can finally order my new parts as soon as I can place the order. Should be sometime next week. Only a matter of time before the She_Devil is out roaring around on the streets.

Finally got the last head bolt off after I found a 15mm socket that could grip it. I just have some random bolts to remove then I can order my parts. The one bolts holding back the air conditioning brack(and my progress) is stripped so that needs a lil lovin to come off. Well, at least Im closer.
Im about to place a rather large order from FWDPerformance.com Which includes a 3 Bar MAP sensor, S60 Turbo, Stage 5 Computer +40% Injectors and a stainless steel turbo oil feed line. When I get it all on, this thing is going to be making some serious power.

Welcome to my page. This is my newly acquired 1988 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z. I have had this car less than a month and absolutely love it! The car is in over all OK shape. The Turbo II engine needs a new turbo and a power steering pump but thats it. I am in the process of removing the turbo, and its an absolute bitch to get to without being able to jack up the car. The car already has a 2.5 inch Turbo Back exhaust on it. The interior is in great shape, but the power window motors need to be greased up and the power locks don't work. The outside is in good shape, save a few minor dents. It also needs a new paint job.
