My 1978 Chevy Malibu Classic
Powered by a ZZ4 crate motor, putting out 355 HP and 405 LBS of torque this Malibu hardly resembles what came out of the factory back in 1977.
The 350 cubic inch engine is fed by a Holley 750 Double Pumper with an electric choke conversion. The air is filtered by a K&N filter kit. The exhaust is run through Hedmen headers, with a modified cross member to allow for the true dual exhaust. There are no cats to be found.

In stock form the car came with a 95 HP 200 CI V6....quite the upgrade.
Changes were made to the cooling system. The stock 2 core was tossed and replaced with a 3 core. The engine driven fan was removed and 2 electric fans installed.

The stock AM only 1 speaker "system" was replaced with a Pioneer 9200 face, Kenwood 6x9s & 4" speakers as well as 2 12" MTX subs in a custom box. The subs are powered by a 500 watt amp.
The body is clean of any form of rust, and features a brand new paint job. The color is 1976 Corvette Red. The wheels are the ever classic Cragar wheels that can be found on every type of classic car out there.

What I have planed for the car include a brand new tranny, torque converter with a higher stall for much more aggressive launching, as well as a rear end swap to a Ford 9" with disc brakes. I also plan on converting the front brakes to the larger 12" variety.
