The Integrated Body Kit
After much serious thought I decided to retain the color of Mr.Blue inspite of it having to undergo repainting due to the new body modifications.
In this stage major modifications to the body kit were made including the integration of the flares into the fenders. The process took half a year and was completed in November 2005.
The Concept
The Result
The new bumper, a trial and error modification. Our first atempt was to only have the intercooler fins exposed. Unfortunately, the result was overheating due to the reduced size of the opening. What appears on the left is the final design, on the right was the first modification (taken at its debut at the first Bumper to Bumper show in the Fort).

This was taken at SM Mall of Asia when Globe Telecom borrowed it for their Father's Day event in May 2006.
A race inspired fuel filler cap replaces the stock cover.

The new 2-piece rear bumper with CF look splitter. A closer look at the doors reveals new body cladding. Also integrated into the doors but still incudes the intakes. This was one of the reasons the modifications took longer than usual.

At Stoplight TV's Motor Wednesday.

At Driftwave (MOA) and Styling Extreme (WTC) car shows

The last Mr.Blue would be seen this way. Taken at Robinson's Galleria during the 4th Protege Tech Car Show in July 2006.
THANK YOU FOR VISITING MR. BLUE'S CARDOMAIN PAGE! :-)
Keep checking for updates in the future.
