USED ENGINE INSTALLED 60K from a Dodge Ram Van...same 3.9Mag V6.
after its all said and done about $1600Can
i dont know if i should put the stupid K&N back on this summer cause i dont wanna wreck another engine.

HUGE PROBLEMS
Well...since i put on an aftermarket K&N filter charger kit, i've had nothing but probs..BIG probs.
The bolt that hold the air filter housing onto the throttle body snapped off inside the throttle body...FUCK.
so i had the T-body re-threaded to 5/16 standard coarse...but again FUCK.
I NEW ENGINE LATER..
the stupid bolt broke off and went down the T-body into my engine...punched 2 holes in the enigne block and totally destroyed a piston.

Anybody else have this PROBLEM?!?!?!?

This is my 1992 Dodge Ram D-150.
Only 100K on it. Standard 3.9l Magnum V6
I put in BOSCH 4-prong no-gap Platinum spark plugs. I Also put in a K&N 360 degree 4" Air Breather. Just put a plastic bedliner in. Getting a tonneau cover in a few weeks. When I get someone with a dig camera i will update my pics. These pics are July 2003.

Anyone know a great exhaust system to add to my truck...increase HP and nice loud sound. Please let me know!Thanks ,Nate
