Although I said that my underdrive pulley made the biggest difference so far, well now the 4:10 rear gears and possi is by far the biggest difference. My little six is so quick now I can't believe it.
This is my old ring and pinion ready to be removed
Here's Pete, the owner of A-One Transmission pulling the axles
Everything out, ready to remove the old pinion gear
The yellow markings are to check for proper alignment
Installation completed. Notice the clutch springs on the possi unit.
I didn't realize how time consuming and critical rear end gears and possi are. It's a very precise installation. I'm really happy I had the pleasure of having the best guys in the business do mine for me. I'd like to thank Dave, Pete and Dane for a suburb job.
