As of 6 - 14 - 2005 a decayed tree fell on top of the Tracker and was destroyed. Not one light was broken, thank goodness, insurance would not have covered it ( no rider).
I have pictures, but, due to computer glitches,
I will not have them for some time.
A week later, the wife said that it's over, after 14 years together, and one 4 year old later, it's over.
So I'll be gone for a while.
Keep an eye on the Chevy Aveo. That's the replacement car.
Funny enough, it has a larger alternator, and it's even cheaper to replace too.
I love it, stick shift, "summer yellow", model SV. 32 M.P.G.
full tank from E = $21.00 @$2.13per gal
The Tracker was really fun to drive, the way people looked at me/it in awl.
Many times I would pull up to people at a traffic light, they see me, do a double take, and put on their seatbelts on. (if they didn't have them on to begin with). It was funny.
Often, people would slow down to the point of doing the speed limit,or even under the limit, causing me to have to go slow in my travels. No matter what was happening!!!
So take care, may our paths cross again........Me,
John W.
