This is my VW bug. I got it in this condition on 4-16-05. It has an adjustable lowered front beam, KYB shocks, front and rear sway bars, front disc brakes,some VDO gauges, and header with an EMPI stinger, Weber progressive carb and intake, engle 120 cam, and its a 1915cc, but had spun the main bearings- so a rebuild will be required. The engine is all apart right now.
The inside is a wreck, but has Scat Procar rally seats- but they need to be recovered. They have chincey seat covers on them now. The drivers door needs to be replaced, the pan isnt too bad, but could use a patch under the battery. The bumpers will be coming off, the car will be getting lowered, the doors will be suicide, the top may even get chopped.
I would like to replace the rear glass fenders with stock ones. If you have any- with lights- that you want to trade even-up for mine email me. The front bumper appears near new, so its for sale. The wheels are 14" the front tires are almost brand new- they will be for sale too, or trade for stock VW rims (four lug) with usable tires.
Check back as often as you like but dont expect this car to be done anytime soon, this project is pretty far down on the to-do list.
