2004 Rotor Upgrade
On May 6, 2005, I installed my new brake setup which included the following:
BlehmCo 2004 Rotor Relocation BBK
RTP 2004 Slotted Zinc Plated Rotors
Brembo 2001 Slotted Zinc Plated Rotors
Wagner ThermoQuiet Performance Brake Pads
Super Blue ATE Brake Fluid
I have barely had any time to test it out so far tonight, but so far, so good.
Here are a few pics to tell the story:
You can see the noticeable difference in size between the 2k4 rotor and the OEM 2k1 rotor.
Here I have the old front rotor on before removal (left) and then the new 2k4 rotor on the right.
I decided to do a quick paint job on my brake parts with VHT gloss black brake paint.
Now with the caliper put on and placed over the rotor.
Here is a top view of the rotor/caliper/relocation bracket.
Finally, a picture of the entire package. LOOKS AWESOME!
I will report back as to the stopping power of the new setup as soon as I get a bit more chance to evaluate it.
