The engine is no good. Cracked head, both head gaskets, and a spun rod bearing are bad. As much as I hate too, I will be getting rid of it. At this point, putting more money into it is pointless. After the engine, there are still many many other things that would need to be fixed. I love this car. I loved driving it. I love the looks. But it is time to move on. I am now looking at '98+ Trans Am's with the ram air pkg. If I pick one up I will set up a new page.

Regardless of what I buy next,

Been working my ass off trying to get money togather to get it painted and have the firebird spoiler put on. Still not there yet. So much crap has come up this summer and fall. Now the car is running like crap, has been for the past 2 monthes. Been working on it and I have it almost fixed. I'm getting new exhaust within the week. Already got a new Flowmaster 80 Series. This summer I have replaced and added:
new 8mm spark wires
new Accel Super Coil,cap and rotor
new ignition module
new Mass Air Flow sensor
new Coolant temp sensor
new throttle position sensor
new fuel injectors
new fuel pressure regulator
new manual cold start system
new electric fan
new battery/alternator
new mini hi-torgue starter
new new intake air temp sensor
new cd player

Everytime I got close to getting the body done, something else broke or came up. I swear I am never gonna get ahead with this car.
************Car accident***************

Me and my buddy were on are way to Western and we were involved in that pile up on I94 near Battle Creek.
Some moron rear ended me while i was trying to pull of the road to avoid the 12 other cars swerving and crashing into each other. He nailed me hard, my back hatch is completely busted, tail lights are smashed(but still functioning) and my bumper is smashed but in one piece, though sagging a bit. My alighnment is jacked because he hit me as I was turning the wheel to avoid the other cars, got a small dent in front from a car I bumped after getting hit. I slid about 50 ft about 2 inches from a ditch. 2 cars ahead wound up in it, the cop trying to help almost got taken out. We were told about 30+ cars were involved. I had to drive the car to school so we could get it unpacked cause we had all our stuff in it. I only have no fault on it too, no collision. I have no idea who hit me but I think I may have saw the guy drive away. We are ok though.

Update 3/15/04

The car is fixed for the most part. Its 3 colors though:( and it has a camaro hatch and spoiler on it. But tha will be fixed as soon as I got the cash. I have my old firebird spoiler so it will get put back on when i have the cash for paint.

Transmission and rear: 700R-4, shift kit, rebuilt a year ago, 3.43 open rear

Interior: Leather, Dual cd player with motorized faceplate, Pioneer 6X9's, Kenwood 4X6's, mini tweeters, PW/PL, remote hatch release.

Wheels: American Racing 791's, 225/60/R15 on the front, 235/60/R15 on the back.
