This is my 1974 BMW 2002. Bought it in the summer of 2002. Bought it running on 3 cylinders, hesitating, some rust and alot of fun work ahead. And boy have we come a long way. Wiring was a big issue, so new coil, plugs, plug wires, and a mechanic in Clinton IA was a real big help too. Also the hesitation was an issue also, so we rebuilt the carb. She still hesitated though. And the muffler was banging so we had that welded back on. The Sun roof was jammed so we got new cables and tracks for that too. Did some body work around the rear fenders and around the hood. And we just installed a brand new Cylinder head, and she should purr like a kitten. That was the cause of the hesitation.
I only paid $800 for her and now were at about $3300.

Heres my massive amount of parts.

Well, we hooked her all back up and shes running, but the hesitation is still there. The only other thing I think thats need to be replaced is the carb. She still pulls back when your cruising down the street, but hard accel. is fine.
