White_96_Svt_Cob's 1996 Ford Mustang

***UPDATE*** Sorry it took so long, i've been lazy and dealing with school crap... Everything got installed and went more smoothly than expected... Everything works great and feels better than stock... No complaints... Only compliments to spec for making the most quiet and comfortable clutch i've ever had the pleasure of using... Diffs and Axels are great but feel like stock so i guess the test will be when the SC gets installed... Still waiting on it... Should be here mid November/ December... More later... Sign my guestbook and tell me what u think...

***UPDATE*** took the car to the shop monday to get my new Moser 31 Spline axels, Auburn differentials, and Spec stage 3 clutch (610 ft/lbs tq rating). Should be finished by friday... then i'll be expecting my Kenne Bell 6 psi Supercharger kit and chip and i'll be ready to rock and roll. I'll post pics asap.

***UPDATE*** I just Added Some New Blacked Out Head Lights, Blacked Out Clear Corners, Mac Off-Road HTS H-Pipe, JDS Performance Solid Lower Control Arms. Here are the pics of the headlights and control arms, I failed to take pics of it before I put it on the car, Sorry.

The Head Lights are Smoked Diamond Back Headlights and Blacked out Side Markers. I wanted something new but nothing ricy so I chose a smoked look. I also don't like the look of diamond clear corners on my year model and the blacked out kind looks pretty good. I mainly did this because somebody hit my car and cracked my factory headlights and corner lights and chipped the paint on the driver side corner of the bumper, u can see it and the scratch below it... i haven't had the chance to get it painted yet. Let me know what you think in my guestbook!

1. Engine
-Ported and Polished Factory 4 valve Heads (Re-contoured bowl and short turn radius, and high-flow exhaust port)
-EV8 Hardened Stainless Valves with multi-angled valve seat, Titanium retainers, hardened locks, manganese bronze guides, and some nice Comp Cams Hi-Energy Valve Springs.

-2 MSD Performance Ignition Coil Packs
-8 NGK V-Power Sparkplugs (TR5)
-BBK 62MM Throttle body (went back with the OEM IT flowed better on the bench)
-Mac Fender Well cold air unit w/K&N Filter (Don't have this anymore... its a long story)
-Steeda Underdrive pullies (Ditched because i'm planning on an SC very soon and they don't work with an SC)
-Ford Motorsport Heavy Duty Radiator (The previous owner had put it in there because there were rumors of the 96 cobras having cooling problems)
-Diablo Sport Delta Flip Chip (3 Stage Custom Tune)
-Chrome Snake Embossed Oil Fill Cap (I don't have this anymore either, its another part of that long story)

-Granatelli Motorsports Double Adjustable Upper Control arms (just retired these, they made the car ride to stiff and rattled my teeth out... its not really for street use anyway)

-Had Some Drag springs with airbags but I took them off i cracked one of the airbags
-Tokico Performance Shocks and struts
-JDSperformance Solid Upper Control Arms With Fluted Polyurethane Bushings (these replaced the GMS double adjustable uppers... they are so much better than the GMS's... Much much Quieter... they are supposed to be the most quiet uppers on the market)
-JDSperformance Solid Lower Control Arms

4. Exhaust
-Stainless Bassani Off-road X-Pipe (Retired this unit so that a friend of mine with a 04 Cobra could use it, sounds good on a blown 4.6)

I love the black headlights on the white cobra. I'm getting almost the same lights for mine. You have a great looking ride. I'm rating it up. Later

Hey man...nice cobra........i just sold my IROC and bought a 1998 cobra convertible...i wanted to ask you about the eibach pro-kit springs..how much of a drop did it give you? did you change the stock shocks and struts? How does it ride..is it more harsh? I only put the springs on my IROC and i have been reading that you should put on offset steering rack bushings, bump stops, caster/camber plates, aftermarket shock and struts..damn you will end up spending a fortune just to lower a car...thanks for any feedback.
