This is my 1988 Toyota Supra Turbo 5-spd. hardtop. Anyone who knows a bit about the third gen. supra should know just how rare hardtop turbos are to find, especially with manual transmissions and fixed roofs. The vehicle has just over 100k on the odometer, no rust of any sort, and a half decent paint job [although the interior is in desperate need of attention!]. The car was originally a southern rental-car, where I am sure it saw many rough miles. But after a year of ownership, I am very pleased with the condition of the vehicle especially since I spent very little when purchasing the vehicle.
The car was purchased as a second vehicle, so I do not need to concern myself with making the car comfortable are quiet; rather the only focus is making the car very reliable during track meets. The car was bought for autocrossing, so it has recieved several modifications in order to gain the most overall performance possible. Although many Supra owners try to boost or bust for the best 1320 time they can, I am going another direction. Enjoy!
Here are some images of the car when I first got it back from the shop. I live in Pittsburgh, but go to school in Erie; so don't be confused. When I bought the car it had severed brake lines, a broken shock mount, and the original radiator. Obviously alot had to change, so I went to McB Autosport in Bridgeville PA. Mark Connelly did some wonderful working bringing this car back to form. Here is a modification list. The majority of parts can be found at www.suprasport.com or www.MVPmotorsports.com
