This is my 1998 Seat Ibiza 2.0 litre 8 valve GTi cuprasport. I bought it in October last year and have gradually started modifying it up until now. I got a bit fed up with saving up to buy things so I got a loan (www.egg.com) and now things are starting to move ahead quite quickly ive bought a lot of stuff recently but none of it is on or in the car yet. Two months from now ill probably have some quality pictures to add to this site!
This is it so far...
Standard 15" Seat alloy wheels and standard suspension and then 17" Boss XTS alloys and Apex full suspension set-up (-45mm)

Notice the gold cap in the centre of the rear wheel where the Boss alloy wheel cap is supposed to be? Thats because the cap wouldnt go on, the gold cap underneath came out too far. So I took the wheel off to see what I could do and saw that the tyres were scrubbing the suspension struts aswell! A 5mm spacer sorted that problem out.

Next on the list was the rear end. In my opinion this model of Ibizas is the best looking, (I dont like the headlights on the newer ones) but at some stage in the design of the car some idiot decided to put a massive ugly reflecting strip on the back and a large boot lock.

There was no way I was putting up with that so...

Add some lexus style rear lights and flush the boot completely. (Who needs a rear wiper eh?)

Just another pic I had.

You may notice Ive taken the cuprasport badges off of the front wings.

As I said, I've currently got a lot of bits sitting in my garage and house waiting to go on/in the car, I was gonna list it all but I think I'll wait till its done and I've got pictures to show, just so the people who know me, or the car, are as blown away as those who have never seen it before.
Whether its complete or not it looks like Ill be at Trax at Silverstone in September probably with the Seat Enthusiasts cars if I can sort my membership out. If so check my car out in the flesh! (or metal/fibreglass!)
