This page is for all of those who have a dream like me. I started with the design day and threw around ideas for about two months. For those two months, everybody said it was "stupid", too much time, too much money. But, "Monk" was there to say, "Yeah, we should do that!" One day, it all came together. I brought my car in and started a project I will never regret. I am willing to post up some pics of the work that me, my father and "Monk" did to make NTGR8D a reality. (I can't let all my secrets out, then it won't be original.=))I kind of like to think of it as Monster Garage.=)

This was the design day.=) I drew this picture 2 months before the project even started. It was to be a 91 Civic w/ Integra front and tail lights. This is my dream.

project_c2's 1991 Honda Civic The challenge, turning a 91 Civic into an Integra. I bought this car for $3400.00. The A/C didn't work and there was some front end damage. It did however have a CF hood. Oh wait, that's black primer. Rust galore on the outside, but the interior was awesome, even though it smelt like a$$. That is the ad from a local paper that prompted the sale. 10/15/02 as you can see, is when I purchased the car. All stock.

project_c2's 1991 Honda CivicThe build day. I had just got the hood to close and clear the engine. (Having Integra hinges help.) This is the test fit of the front end to see how far off I am. Not very, apparently. That was a garbage hood that I had lying around. Didn't want to mess up the new one.

project_c2's 1991 Honda CivicLike I said this car was in a frontal collision. I bought a brand new 91 Civic radiator support from the Honda dealer. You can't line everything up if the front end isn't straight. The frame rails and alignment were good so we didn't have to pull the frame. I drilled every spot weld just til it let go that way there are no weak spots in the support. Spot welds suck, so I MIG welded everywhere there was a spot weld. Took me about 4 hours.

project_c2's 1991 Honda CivicThat's me MIG welding the support into place. Never substitute Nitrile gloves for welding gloves. Do as I say, not as I do.=)

project_c2's 1991 Honda CivicIntegra fenders, hood, front bumper, head lights, blinkers and alot of $1.99 primer. (For now.) Everything lined up really well. The hood does open and close, no need for hood pins. All brand new OEM parts. That took a big bite out of the wallet. Oh, by the way, all sheet metal. No fiberglass needed. You'll also find that the Integra uses the same headlight bulbs, no need to rewire. The blinkers, however, were a pain to wire and solder.

project_c2's 1991 Honda CivicOff to the painter. I stripped the entire car of interior, glass, moldings and whatever else was in the way. Since I had it apart, might as well replace the rubber. Off to Honda. They really love it when I walk in through the door.

project_c2's 1991 Honda CivicSorry, I am not allowed to show how we did the front end and tail lights. TOP SECRET. This is a pic that did ,however, make it out of the paint shop. This is the rear section, the tail lights just bolt up. I'll let you try it out on your car. Having a donor Integra helps.=) Again no moulding the trunk shut or slicing off the lower part. Latches and is water tight.

project_c2's 1991 Honda CivicThis is how I made the speaker enclosures for the rear. It isn't exactly flat. Now it is. My friends from Krazy Concepts and Special-T-Tinting helped me out with this one. We used MDF and layed fiberglass over the panel. A little bondo helps to smooth things out.

The finished product. This is where the dream ends and the reality begins. I sent my thanks out to those who were a great part of this project and those who were there when I needed help the most. Without you guys, this might never have happened. I have alot of blood, sweat, and tears invested into this car. Wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks to viewers of this page and guys (or girls) who have a dream like this. Don't ever listen to the people who say that it's stupid or too much work. Hey, if it was too much work, then why is it done? Another thing "If it was easy, it wouldn't be any fun!" -Project C2
