This page is pretty much how I started in the import scene. This is not the car, as seen on the previous pages. It is really hard to find a decent 89-91 Civic chassis to work on due to the fact that we are surrounded by ocean and we are a rock in the Pacific Ocean. But this is how it was. Enjoy.

This was my first ride, I ever owned. It was all stock and I built it up. I bought it for 2500 bucks from a used car lot. It was kind of my grad present. It's an 89 Honda Civic Si, the exterior is, again Championship White. This is not the same car that is on my first and second page. Though, the engine less turbo, Autometer gauges, and whatever bodykit parts that weren't damaged were salvaged. By salvaged, I mean...... Take a look below.

It was 5am and I was packing up my things to go to work. It was a usual Monday morning. I gassed up, and bought breakfast. I then proceeded to the nearest on ramp. When I got onto the highway, I noticed a coupe following me. So, I opened up. Yeah, lost 'em! The road was a little wet, but hey, I can handle, right. RIGHT?! The Coupe passed me @ 100 miles per hour. He flashed his hazards and I sped up. I payed no attention to the speed and the sharp turn in the highway coming up. I turned in a little too hard and...................................

I slid into a 6in. curb, cleared it, airborne, and smashed into a guard rail @ 112 mph. I shattered the passenger side window, ripped the passenger side frame rail, sent my struts through the floor pan, sent the door beam into the rear 1/4 panel and, literally, totalled my car.
I sustained a couple of bruised ribs, collar bone. A few minor cuts and bruises, but, I walked away. My stuffed panda on my dash also survived. It is now a reminder of that day.
I learned a very valuable lesson that day. You may think your car is the sh*t, maybe it really is?=)Yeah, it's a fast car, but, with great power comes great responsibility. Besides if I crash the new one, my parents and my painter are going to kill me!
