Hi, my name is Albert and here is my 1997 Trans Am. I bought this car in April 2002 after giving up my 96 Cavalier z24. Originally, I was about to buy a 97 Camaro SS but I found this car on Autotrader.com for a more reasonable price. I bought this Trans Am for $12,000 with only about 42,000 miles on the Odometer. So far the only problem I've had with this car was the Optispark due to my own stupidity ;p. Here's a pic of what my car looked like the day I brought it home from the Dealer.
Once I bought this car, I had a Flowmaster muffler installed and a K&N CAI installed. These alone was a big improvement from stock. I then invested in some Racing stripes/decals from Autografic.com and replaced the Monsoon system with a MTX system. Audiocraft in town did a Badass job istalling this and the Sony Cd player. I also threw on a Lebra to cover the webbing on the paint that was forming on the nose. Here's what my car looks like now with all the decals on.

I havn't dynoed my car yet...nor taken it out on the track. Hopefully I will get to that soon. Once I get a second car, I'll be more playful with this one.
