RACEWAY JOURNAL
I was asked how and why did I get into car's, this is my response; I learned about cars thru my friends and mentors (page 1 of my site, mentors), they deserve ALL the credit they took the time to share their knowledge with me. Eric took me under his wing and taught me about racing and introduced me into the car club world. Another reason for me working on cars is that, I couldn�t see paying someone to do something I could do myself, the first time I put a performance part on my car and felt how it reacted I WAS HOOKED what a rush.lol.. The first time I got behind the wheel to race the car myself, I was so anxious, now I WANT MORE PERFORMANCE PARTS,& MORE SPEED..lol. I truly enjoy getting my hands into an engine. The feeling I get when I improve the performance�humm nothing like it..
I have a different Cold intake on order as well as tires (problems hooking the car during launch. Planning on doing adjustments to throttle body�

October 16, 2003 ATCO Raceway. Gathering of LS1 Members.
It was great seeing LS1 fellow Members at the ATCO Track. Some drove as far as 3 hours to get here. any who I did ok.. I Still need better tires. These suck. also need to DINO my car along with a few other things.

on my 6th run we took the air filter box out. On the 7th run , put air filter back on..

Merlinsrealm and I installed struts and shocks on his car in hopes to run it at ATCO�. RAIN OUT�didn�t get the chance to run either car�
Met up with some great fellow drivers� coolest thing. ..six hot cars following each other, to a diner. We salvaged what we could of the evening, and had a GREAT time� night not wasted. Rain date set for Friday.

June 6, 2003, English Town Raceway Park
Eric (Merlinsrealm) and I went to meet up with, some folks from the LS1 and V6 Forums. We had a great time.
I finally got the nerve to race my car. WOW, what a rush... I sucked on my time on the QTR mile, 14.22. Everyone say's its good considering I've never raced before.
I made all kind of mistakes. From the launch, couldn�t hook, (spun out), to taking my foot off the gas before passing the time traps. I was shaking like crazy.

May 27, 2003, ATCO RACEWAY
Went to ATCO raceway today to see what our car's could do. To get initial time slips of what the car's run presently before any additional mods.

Eric (Merlinsrealm) raced my car for me. He pulled a 14.21, in spite of the problem with the Rev Limiter. We are researching on how to fix this.

Here I am with my car..When I get up the nerve I will race it. For now I'll have my bud, Eric race it for me. As you can see by the smile on his face he enjoys it.

This is Eric's ride he raced also. His is the blue with the stripes. He pulled a 15.89, bone stock a V6 at that. Pretty damm good. His mods have been appearance only up to now. Currently parts are on order i.e. Whisper lid, K&N filter, Gears, and suspension etc..
