SUPERCHARGED 3800 V6 1988 PONTIAC FIERO GT

the New Hotness:

First, I want to say that all FIEROS DO NOT CATCH FIRE!!!!! Only if you pour gas and set a match to it. (Which I have wanted to do more then a few times in the past!!) Sorry, just get tired of hearing that at car shows!
Anyways........
I've owned this car since I was in college. It was originally all Silver with inflatable lumbar in the drivers seat. Engine was a 2.8 V6 with qauto. Best ET was a 16.20, man I thought I was the hot lick back then! LOL...
I couldn't live with the silver, and saw a 1990 something Probe GT with a special edition Purple on it, and fell in love with the color. So my car was sprayed with Ultra Violet Metallic, OEM Ford color. Its been sprayed by my step father, and now it gets sprayed by my brother, who also owns a Fiero with the same motor swap. But his is a 11.70 car in the quarter mile!
That being said, I am by no means trying to say that the Fiero is the "Greatest Car Eva!" It has its drawbacks, most of which are solved when you do a an engine conversion. I mean, the car is 20 years old! But I think the looks have held up, and it will hold its own with the proper engine swap for years to come!
The pluses are that its rare, cheap, and fun to play with.

These pics have my new wheels and sidescoops on it. The wheels are MRR's, 18's in back and 17's on front. The side scoops are from FieroWarehouse.com

The car is a daily driver. I drive to the raceway when I get the time and lay down consistent 12 sec ET's. The best so far is a 12.38@110 on drag radials. For those not familar, the Supercharged 3800 V6 is found in 1997-2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP's. It is a 3.8 liter pushrod V6 with a M90 Eaton blower on top. I ran 13.4's with the motor stock. I have since added a intercooler, XP HOT cam, smaller pulley on the blower( more boost), stronger valve springs, ported throttle body, ported exhaust manifolds, 3 inch exhaust, etc.etc. Here's what it looks like.

Sometime in the summer of 2007 I plan on lowering the front, adding a chin spoiler and glass in twin hood scoops to extract heat from the radiator and front mount intercooler. If I ever find the time!
Here's some pics of my car without the spoiler. I take it off sometimes for a cleaner look.
