Here are a few updates of what I've done over the past year to the Cobra.
Rearend Rebuild with FRPP 3.55 gears. Also I stripped the whole suspension, differential, and underside of the car and repainted it all. I also added a complete set of Prothane Urethane suspension bushings.

Painting the Axle Housing:
Reassembled:
Next I removed the upper intake, used acid stripper to remove the powdercoating, smoothed all seams and rough casting, then painted it with Ceramic aluminum paint. I also polished the letters on the top of the intake.

Intake Finished:
Everything back together. Also, I got an Optima Red Top battery and polished the throttle body.
I took a welding class at Virginia Tech this past semester, so I made a strut tower brace for the cobra. It's made out of 1 1/4" and 1" seamless tubing and 1/2" steel plate. You can see it in these pics from a car show I entered a few weeks ago. I also got a Cobra snake emblem for the front grille.
Other than that, I've done tons of polishing and cleaning. I'll have the carpayed off in a few months, so after that, the big mods will be coming!
