I bought this car over ten years ago near Prinville Oregon.(Powell Butte) it was in a barn! Over time it evolved to the point that you see here.

Interior was mostly stock appearing deluxe houndstooth I had to get the seats from a 68 camaro along with other interior pieces. I reupholstered the seats and replaced what was available mostly thru classic industries.

A day racing....(before teardown) The car weighs over 3,600lbs and I decided to put the camaro on a weight loss program, I tore this car apart and started over with fabing a 4130 tubular chassis. It is my plan to remove over 1,000 lbs from the total weight of the vehicle. I do not intend to do any changes to the engine or drivetrain. I have the power and strength there already. The performance numbers posted are on the motor WITHOUT the use of nitrous oxide. I expect that the reduction of weight should get this car into the high 8 second range with out nitrous and low 8s with nitrous possible 7's?...well see.

Ill let the rest of the pictures do the talking. I will add a parts list below. When completed this car will still be street legal!(barely) It was driven on freeway to the racetrack every time it raced and removing 1,000 lbs will only make it easier because the rear end gears will be higher and it will cruse at highway speed better. 4.10:1 rear gears are not bad for freeway when your rear tires have over 100" of rollout!
