October 2003 (Purchased!)
This has been a company car since 1991. Several months ago (they think) the clutch went out and they didnt bother to get it repaired. Up until Aug of 2003 it was in one of the soundstages being used as a prop. Then it was sort-of annexed to where you see it in these pictures.

I saw it every day I went to work, so I asked if they wanted to sell, after several weeks I got it (Oct 2003).

I know it received regular maintenance over the years, until its recent minor neglect. The best part the mileage, 77,183! Hard to pass up.
This will be my first project car. One of those things I have always wanted to but havent had the resources to do so.
That being said, due to my lack of mechanical experience, I had the car towed straight to a mechanic to determine what exactly is wrong with the car and have it checked over for anything else.
The goal right now is just to get it drivable for now so I can get it home and get started on seeing if I can remove the logo they had painted, yes painted, on the car.
The future holds basic mods for this Miata, nothing too fancy. New tires (ordered some Yoko AVS ES100s), new shocks, various braces/stiffeners, new bushings, eventually new paint. My desire is to get it in the best running shape possible, starting with the engine, then the suspension.
