Repainted fairing..
As many Maxima owners know, the MAF (mass airflow) sensor is a pretty fragile thing and you never know if it'll go bad (hopefully never).
Anyhow, in case of trouble, I carry a spare MAF assembly in the trunk....for those of you with a 2k-2k1 maxima, here's what it looks like, what the nissan part number is. It cost me about $100 bucks and well worth the peace of mind.
Here's some photos of Volvo S60R Gauges (blue - the red one is a Photoshop job) that we're trying to get made as overlays for Maximas...we'll see how that works out....UPDATE: nothing so far....

Stuff off a junked 5th gen at a local junkyard....$300 of new stuff for under $50, including a brand new cargo net. Score
