HOW TO make/install a ghetto Home Depot mesh grille...

Pretty basic....use your brain a little and figure out the details.

Get some galvanized gutter guards from Home Depot. While there, pick up some primer for galvanized steel and some paint of whatever color you want to use....

For the lower grill - I don't have the measurements, but it's pretty simple - just go measure how big to cut it...it's just a long rectangle.

Upper grill....cut out 2 pieces of gutter guard (one for the left, one for the right), each 6" tall and 15 1/2" long. take out to your car and use a sharpie to mark where other cuts need to be made...

This is what it should basically look like when cut to fit

remember, cut each side opposite of each other (duh).....

Now, test-fit it without attaching it. You can wedge it in against the lower metal bar behind the grille (no idea what that's called) to make it snug.

Now, take it out and paint it once everything is cut correctly.

re-install behind grille

Attach with zip ties (get the metal-tabbed ones so they're stronger). Use your brain and figure out the best "hidden" attachment points.....good rule of thumb that the more hidden the point is, the freakin' harder it will be to get your hands in there to attach it :)

enjoy!
