My new system will consist of the following already purchased items.

Head Unit: Clarion ProAudio DXZ835MP
Signal Processor: Rockford Fosgate EPX2 Symmetry with the 28 band EQ card
Amps: Hifonics Zeus ZX4000 and Hifonics Brutus BX1000D
Front Speakers: Image Dynamics CD1E minihorns and VIFA PL18WO09-04 7" mids
Rear Fill: 4" Pioneers (only used for rear passengers)
Sub: Elemental Designs e15A.22
Wiring and Power Distribution: Stinger

The Clarion DXZ835MP is absolutely gorgeous in person. I haven't seen a picture that does the gunmetal chrome finish justice!

Rockford Fosgate nolonger makes the EPX2, but it's still an incredible piece of equipment, and if you can get your hands on one, you should! Mine has the 28 band EQ card, and I also have the Balanced Line Transmitter (BLT) to send the signal from the head unit to the EPX2 with zero noise or interference!

The CD1Es will be taking care of everything from 700Hz up.

7" VIFA PL18WO09-04 mids will be playing from about 60Hz to 700Hz. Here are some pictures of the Vifas next to my old CDT HD mids.

The beautiful 15A will be providing the bass (when it finally gets off of backorder). It will sit in a 1.5 cf sealed box built by myself. I may build a bigger ported box later, but I'm more of an SQ guy and I've always liked sealed boxes. So this should suit me fine.

Power will be provided by the Hifonics Zeus and Brutus amps. Hifonics makes some really nice affordable amps.

Here is the 15" Chaos sub grill I had made by Gately Audio!

That is a sick install! i'm using the Vifa MG myself, with scan speak D2904 tweeters. i can't realy use the PL 'cos t rains too much in singapore, and even the waterproof 'shield' i use won't prevent the paper cone from getting wet. you probably have some serious SQ in your ride. :D congrats on Devin!

Nice car! The system looks real neat and powerful! Just out of curiosity how do you keep your steering wheel's audio controls operational with the new head unit? Good luck with future mods, please hit me back when you update too! Pce
