This car used to be a factory 83 GT 5.0 5 speed with a red exterior/black stripe and red interior. I converted it to a 93 Cobra with only 57,000 miles on it. The only way to tell the year is to look at the original dash, everything else has been changed. The gas door was shaved then cut out to sport a Sparco circle fuel cap.
The go fast parts include a 347 stuffed with J&E 10.5:1 pistons, Eagle rods, Motorsport F-303 cam, GT-40 X-305 aluminum heads, 1.7 Crane Cams roller rockers and roller lifters, Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap intake, Holley 750 double pumper carb, BBK polished underdrive pulleys, Melling high volume oil pump, Milodon 7 quart race oil pan, BBK long tube headers and BBK off-road x-pipe, Flowmasters, 2.5 inch exhaust, Tremec 3550 TKO transmission, Steeda TRI-AX shifter, Motorsport Aluminum drive shaft, McLeod scatterproof bellhousing, Centerforce billet flywheel with a McLeod clutch, MSD 6AL ignition box with a MSD pro-billet distributor, Accel super distributor coil, Taylor 9mm race plug wires, Vello Performance custom electric cooling fan, Flamming River manual rack and pinion steering, 3.73 Richmond gears, trick flow rear end stud reinforcement housing, Southside Machine upper and lower control/lift bars, Steeda tubular sub-frame connectors, BBK panhard bar, Eibach Sportline lowering spings, and much more!
There are Konig Appeals 17" wheels with 245/45/ZR 17 tires. The tail lights are Ford Racing carbon fiber altezza and clear corners in the front.
It only has a few electrical goodies such as; keyless entry with alarm, custom switch panel to turn on all of the accessories, autometer guages (speedo, tach, shift light, volt, oil, fuel, cylinder head temp, and water) strobes in the front and rear lights, Streetglow Gold Series LED 7 color undercar kit, Powermaster 140 amp alternator, and a Summit Racing battery relocation kit for the trunk. The stereo system is in the works for this winter's project, stay tuned!!
This is the custom cowl panel, looks better than the black stocker.
Here is a close-up of the custom shaved fuel door. We then fit up the new sparco billet circle fuel door.
